Using B4 II with Pro Tools The RTAS format is an interface protocol for Mac OS and Windows that allows you to use plug-ins with ProTools independently from additional TDM hardware. In this case, the host processor alone performs all of the computations for the plug-in. The Native Instruments B4 is a software plug-in that emulates the look and sounds of the classic Hammond B3 tonewheel organ and rotating speaker. With an authentic looking B3 complete with drawbars, dual manuals (keyboards) and a pedal keyboard, the plug-in is very visual and intuitive to use. It even features a nifty rear-view for tweaking more adjustment parameters, kind of like the real thing! The B4 II is a tonewheel organ combo, completely capturing the sound of the classic B3 organ and rotating speaker. The B4 takes the popular tonewheel organ into new territory. Added flexibility in sound generation and seamless integration into the recording environment make this possibly the best organ since the original.

This is a very good drawbar emulation, with onboard FX, nice saturation, and the speaker leslie emulation. Perfect for emulating gospel organ and rock organ. And check the 'NHL' preset!
